M. Schall Verlag is looking for authors who have something to say. People who write from experience, who are committed to a cause and whose texts have a calm, clear tone. If you feel called to write a book or are already working on a project, you can apply here. Please take the time to answer the following questions - quality is not created on the fly.<\/p>\n

Copyright and term of protection of works<\/h2>\n

Copyright law protects every created work until 70 years after the death of the author. Only then does a work fall into the public domain. This long term of protection is intended to ensure that not only the author himself, but also his heirs can enjoy the rights. Copyright is inheritable and passes automatically to children or other heirs without any special formalities being necessary.<\/p>\n

Copyright also remains inviolable throughout the protection period and cannot \u201eexpire\u201c or be lost through inactivity. For authors, this means that their works remain protected and commercially usable far beyond their own lifetime - a form of intellectual property that has real permanence and can be passed on within the family.<\/p>\n

What M. Schall Verlag does for authors<\/h2>\n

As a publisher, I provide authors with reliable support from the initial idea to the finished book. This includes an honest assessment of the manuscript, support with typesetting and design, the allocation of an ISBN via the publisher's stock, publication as a print and e-book and solid visibility via my own channels - from website to international press work. The aim is for each book not only to be published, but also to last and to appear in a quality that does justice to the author and the subject.<\/p>\n

If you apply to us as an author, you will receive no costs<\/strong>. We don't ask for any fees, no printing cost subsidy and no hidden shareholdings. What we are looking for is a good book project and the people behind it - not their money. Once we have received your application, we will discuss the manuscript, the target group and the publication together. If we accept a project, we bear the publishing responsibility and later share the success fairly. What counts for us is the content, the author's voice and the quality of the work - everything else is taken care of during the process.<\/p>\n

Promotion: 15 free review copies<\/h2>\n

\"Cover:<\/a>A special publishing promotion is currently running: 15 copies of my book \"Writing books 2.0 - practical guide for authors<\/strong><\/a>\"<\/em> are awarded free of charge to applicants who introduce themselves via the new author form. Participation is non-binding, but subject to one condition:<\/p>\n

Applicants must answer the questions on the form carefully and completely. Short one-word answers or obviously unmotivated submissions cannot be considered, as the books will only be awarded to serious applicants. There are no further obligations.<\/em><\/p>\n

The promotion ends automatically as soon as the 15 books have been awarded. The book will be sent free of charge by post as a print copy. So if you want to take part, you should register as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
