The new standard must be applied to all devices that have been put into operation and successfully approved since May 1, 2015. The monthly constancy test is no longer required under the new directive and has been replaced by the annual constancy test, in which the luminance of the diagnostic monitor and the ambient light must now also be measured and recorded.
