The ointment therefore belongs to SANUM therapy, more precisely to the elements of system regulation, and is prescribed as isopathic or immunobiological. The principle: healing through similarity by regulating microorganisms that occur naturally in blood and tissue (endobionts)
Package insert & instructions for use
The ointment contains per 1 g: 0.1 g Mucor racemosus D3 as well as lanolin (wool wax alcohol ointment), medium-chain triglycerides, glycerol monostearate, propylene glycol, magnesium sulphate, lactic acid and water for injection.
The recommended dosage is: Apply a thin layer 1-3 times a day, if necessary on a bandage. Important: The package leaflet warns not to continue use for longer than four weeks without consulting a doctor. Contraindications should also be noted: known hypersensitivity to molds (Mucor racemosus), autoimmune diseases, children under 12 years of age, pregnancy and breastfeeding. There are also MUCOKEHL-D3 suppositories that contain the same active ingredient: 0.2 g each of Mucor racemosus D3 plus hard fat as an excipient. They are usually inserted rectally once a day before going to bed. Here too, a maximum of four weeks' use applies.
My personal experience with the ointment
When I started using MUCOKEHL-D3 ointment regularly about six months ago, I had both internal and external haemorrhoids. After every visit to the toilet, the external lumps became clearly visible - sometimes the size of a pea, sometimes even the size of a small cherry. This was very stressful for me at first, as the feeling of constantly having to "push something back" was unpleasant and annoying.
I started applying the ointment once or twice a day - not more often, but really consistently. I noticed the first changes after just a few weeks: The external hemorrhoids began to visibly recede, the swelling decreased, and the skin felt calmer overall.
