It is with great pleasure that I am introducing my own publishing house to you today: Schall-Verlag. After many years as an entrepreneur, developer and author, it was time for me to open a new chapter - in the truest sense of the word. Schall-Verlag is not an anonymous publishing platform, but a personal project with a clear, independent approach and high quality standards. Books are published here that get to the heart of the matter without pandering to the zeitgeist. Books that inform, inspire - and sometimes even irritate.
Why have your own publishing house?
In a world full of algorithms, attention economy and soft-pedaled communication, I wanted to create a platform that is different. A place where content counts, not just clicks. Schall-Verlag is deliberately compact, with clear subject areas and a minimalist design. Every book published here is personally selected, editorially well thought out and designed with care.
I want to offer readers real added value - without PR-speak, without text deserts, without marketing platitudes. Instead: Plain text. With depth, but without arrogance.
The first three books: clear, personal, relevant
The publishing house is launching three very different but related books. All three rely on clear language, sound experience and a personal approach - no academic jargon, but pragmatic, real-life content for thinking people.
1 CMD - The forgotten problem of modern medicine
Tension headaches, tinnitus, teeth grinding, dizziness - many people suffer for years without realizing that the cause often lies in the jaw. CMD (craniomandibular dysfunction) is a widespread but underestimated condition that is often overlooked by conventional medicine.
In this book, I describe my own history of suffering, explain the connections in an easily understandable way and show why CMD is more than just a "dentist problem". A book for anyone who wants to understand chronic complaints better - and finally feel that they are being taken seriously.

2. the somewhat different database book
Databases? For many, that sounds like dry technology and SQL fiddling. This book shows that there is another way. With over 20 years of experience in the development of individual database systems, I explain here in a practical way how to build clever, flexible solutions - not with dogma, but with common sense.
A book for developers, designers and entrepreneurs who want to understand and improve their processes - systematically, but without technical jargon. Ideal for anyone who uses FileMaker or is interested in pragmatic software development.

3. crises as turning points - learning, growing, shaping
This book is personal. It not only talks about economic, health or family crises - but also about what they do to us. How to get through them without breaking. How to learn not to be infected by the panic of others. And how to find your way back to yourself - often more quietly than you think.
Not a classic guidebook, but an honest experience report with lots of food for thought for anyone who has the feeling that "something is going wrong here". With chapters on using artificial intelligence for personal self-reflection and nutritional supplements that are useful for achieving clarity.

Crises as Turning Points - learn, grow, create
What you can expect from Schall-Verlag
- Independence - No group, no major publisher, no advertising partners in the background
- Clarity - in language, design and attitude

And what comes next?
The publishing house will grow. More books are planned in the coming months - in German as well as in English and Dutch. Topics: Digitalization, personal development, AI strategies, entrepreneurial thinking. All with the same claim: clear, practical, worth reading.
